The El Gouna Hospital was established in 1998 and is a state-of-the-art facility providing exceptional services. THE SHAALAN SURGICENTER

Situated in Mohandesseen, Cairo
This facility was established in the late 80's as the first daycare surgery unit in Egypt by Dr. Shaalan after his return to Egypt after over 20 years in the USA. Though some beds have been added for overnight stay, still the majority of surgery is done as daycase procedures. This system has many advantages, the main one being for the patient a timely admission with little waiting time before surgery.

This hospital again provides comprehensive health care, and although the age and design of the building gives historical interest the interior is kept up to international standards of hygiene and health and safety. Rooms are designed to provide maximum safety in regard to infection control.
