EYEBAG REMOVAL AND UPPER EYELID SURGERY

Surgery to remove excessive skin around the eyes is known as blepharoplasty. Eyebags are removed by lower blepharoplasty and the hood of excessive skin on the upper eyelids is removed by upper blepharoplasty. These bags and hoods are a result of the skin around the eye loosing elasticity giving a permanent tired expression. Some people can have pronounced hoods and bags from quite a young age, which makes them look much older than they actually are. The correction of these problems can restore a more youthful appearance.
